A friend and I were trying to study downstairs in the basement. We had to move tables after 5 minutes of being there because of the noise level. How can we fix that next time instead of trying to find another table? Others were being bothered, not just us. Thank you.

Answer

If you are looking for quiet study, I would suggest the upstairs floor which is no talking. If that's too quiet or your group needs to talk, the Reference and Media sections are generally quiet enough for low level noise. If you are downstairs and the people being super loud, you can come to the information desk and have one of us to ask them to be quiet. Sometimes that's easier and they're more likely to listen to us (hopefully)!
