To scan documents and create PDFs smaller than 500 KB to upload, follow these steps:
1. Put document on scanner
2. Hit Scan button on top of machine.
3. Once the HP Solution Center opens on your screen, set to the first option, Scan File To PDF.
4. Click on Change Settings.
5. Click on Advanced Document Settings
5. Change the Output Resolution (ppi) for document as image from 300 to 150. Click OK.
6. Click Scan.
7. Click Finish.
